Greeting card shipping and pickup

Prices are displayed in the currency selected for your market. Canadian shipping amounts in this policy are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Available delivery options and charges are shown at checkout before payment.

This greeting card policy covers our birthday, all-occasion and Christmas crochet cards, including the cupcake and avocado designs. Shipping options for other products are shown at checkout.

Dispatch time

Standard/non-personalized greeting cards dispatch within 24 hours of placing a paid order. Personalized greeting cards dispatch within 48 hours of placing a paid order. These are hours, not business days. If required personalization details are missing, we will contact you promptly to obtain them and explain any effect on dispatch.

New crochet motifs or other special designs are quoted separately. We confirm the design, price and production timing by email before you place an order; the standard 24/48-hour dispatch windows do not apply unless expressly agreed.

Dispatch time is separate from carrier transit time. Shipping service availability and transit depend on your destination and the selected service. Any carrier-specific estimate shown at checkout is an estimate, not a delivery guarantee. Weekends, statutory holidays, peak periods, weather and carrier disruptions can affect transit. We do not guarantee that a card will arrive by a particular birthday, celebration or holiday.

Free pickup

Collect your order free of charge at Dollar Delight, 4802A 49 Ave, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A 0P6. Wait for the ready-for-pickup notification before travelling to the store and bring your order confirmation.

Local delivery

Eligible orders of CA$15 or more qualify for free local delivery within 3 km of our store. Enter your full delivery address at checkout to confirm eligibility. A local postal code alone does not guarantee delivery eligibility. We will contact you about local delivery arrangements; local delivery is not a guaranteed 24-hour service.

Contact sanboss711@gmail.com with your order number if an order is delayed, damaged or missing. We will help resolve the issue. Nothing in this policy limits applicable statutory rights.

Single-card economy mail in Canada

CA$3.49 untracked economy mail is available for one greeting card mailed separately, including personalized cards. Estimated transit is 2–8 business days after dispatch, depending on the route; it is not guaranteed and may take longer during holidays, peak periods or weather disruptions. Postal business days exclude weekends and statutory holidays. If you also order other products, their shipping is charged separately at checkout. Two or more cards use the other available shipping options.

Tracked shipping within Canada

Choose Canada Post Expedited Parcel or Xpresspost at checkout for tracked delivery. Available services, shipping charges and carrier transit estimates are calculated using your delivery address and shipment details. No additional handling fee is added to these carrier rates. Tracking details are provided after shipment. Lettermail does not include tracking. Eligible orders of CA$75 or more continue to qualify for free standard shipping; paid upgrades remain optional.

Delivery area

We currently deliver within Canada only. Shipping to the United States and other international destinations is temporarily unavailable.
